FULL MEMBERSHIP or ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
BENEFITS - ALL MEMBERS:
- Have access to the club grounds every day of the year (Note: club buildings, power, and water are shut down off-season).
- May invite guests.
- Have use of all club facilities.
- Can rent accommodations on a daily or weekly basis.
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS - FULL MEMBERS:
- Can rent accommodations on a seasonal basis.
- Can purchase proprietary rights to rooms and ownership rights to cabins.
- Can serve as a member of the Board of Trustees.
- Can vote in club elections and on member referenda.
FEES
Associate Members pay an annual membership fee and a daily fee for every day they visit the club.
Full Members pay only a membership fee.
HOW TO CHOOSE:
Aside from the various benefits, consider the economics of the two types of membership.
If you anticipate spending only a few days per year at Rock Lodge, then an Associate Membership may be your best choice. The membership fee is lower, but because you also pay daily fees, the total cost of membership increases with the number of days you visit. So, if you are a young adult (under age 35), the cost of an Associate Membership equals the cost of a Full Membership after only 5 days. For adults age 35 and over, the break-even point is 11 days. Once you pass the break-even point, an Associate Membership costs more than a Full Membership and doesn't give you the added benefits.
If there is no question that you will exceed the break-even number of days, then a Full Membership makes sense.

UPGRADING YOUR MEMBERSHIP
If you purchase an Associate Membership and wish to upgrade to Full Membership before June 1, then the Associate Membership fee and any daily fees paid and applied toward the current season will be credited toward the Full Membership fee.
If you purchase an Associate Membership and wish to upgrade to Full Membership after June 1 but before spending a day at the club, then the Associate Membership fee paid will be credited toward the Full Membership fee.
After June 1 and visiting the club as an Associate Member, you can upgrade to Full Membership, but no credit will be given toward the upgrade during the current year.
After a season of Associate Membership in which the membership fee and daily fees paid and applied toward the current season exceed that season's Full Membership fee, 50% of all fees paid in excess of that season's Full Membership fee can be applied toward an upgrade in the next season.
For example:
During 2018, you were an Associate Member and visited the club 15 days during the season.
You paid $150 for your membership fee and $525 in daily fees for a total of $675. This was $140 over the 2018 Full Membership fee ($535).
If you upgrade to Full Membership at the start of the 2019 season, you can apply 50% of your excess 2018 fees ($70) toward your 2019 membership!

- Full: $321 (There are no other charges.)

Restrictions:
- You must not have held any type of membership for the last two seasons (2017 & 2018).
- You must have visited Rock Lodge at least once, or be sponsored by a current member.
- Everyone is subject to final approval by the membership committee and then has provisional membership for one year. We will notify you about the process of obtaining final approval.

You can make a fee-free payment and start looking forward to opening day 2019. You can also pay by check, as well as Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit/debit/ATM cards, and through PayPal. A service charge of 3.65% + 15 cents will be added to all card and PayPal transactions. When using PayPal notify us and we will tell you the email address to send payment to.
After payment and before opening day you will receive a procedure-email.
